For the three SUNs runs a common load balancer. One can login to
hb-sun and gets the computer with the smallest load.
hbserv disks
The hbserv and hb-delfin hard disks are mounted on all three SUNs.
Links are set to access the
hbserv disk using the normal path. For example, the partition
daq-slt can be accessed using the path /hb/daq, which is the same
as on all other Hera-B computers.
Local disk
The hb-sun03 has 8GByte of local disk space in /data. This disk
should be used to speed up the work and to take load from the
network, e.g. when working with PAW.
Because it is a small disk, it is only for temporary use:
- files are deleted after 1 week
- directories are deleted after 2 weeks.
