Status of Project The server source code and executables can be found under the hb-fcs account on the hb-vme machines. There are three generations for three hardware development stages: gen1 is for the prototype system used in the 1997 run; gen2 is for prototype mother modules which were used in test setups only; gen3 is for the final hardware version.

Abstract

The Fast Control System Server is a program running on the CETIA which sticks in the FCS mother board's VME crate. The server provides to the online software clients the possibility to do settings to the FCS hardware. The server receives RPM messages containing commands and commits the corresponding settings or sends the requested pulses to the FCS.

Documentation

If the software changes the documentation will be changed here without further announcement.
