Welcome to the home page of the HERA-B Muon group. The Muon group consists of physicists, students, engineers, and technicians from

• Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, USA,
• Universität Dortmund in Dortmund, Germany, and
• Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics in Moscow, Russia.

We are constructing the HERA-B Muon detector and pretrigger systems. The primary role for the Muon system is to quickly identify muon tracks for detailed analysis by the HERA-B trigger system.
