To generate a new version of the geometry files, follow these steps
1) Ensure that you've set up your environment correctly for working
with the SLT code.
2) Copy recursively everything in the directory, /afs/desy.de/group/hera-b/SLT/slt/CnA,
to your private area, "cp -pr * /my/personal/area". This will be a large
area, so it should probably go into a scratch directory.
3) There are two makefiles in this area, Makefile.binary (for producing
binary output) and Makefile.ascii (for ascii output). Edit these files
so that the run arguement -sltdumpdir and the variable bindir point to your
own areas.
4) To overcome a "feature" of arte, you'll have to set a symbolic
link called "Makefile" pointing at the makefile desired.
5) Type "gmake run". If an error occurs with a reference to
"text file busy", simply repeat the command "gmake run", and everything should
work.
