Minutes of SLT meeting on Mon 17 Apr, 2000

* Meetings

The next two SLT meetings on Mon 24 Apr and Mon 1 May 
are cancelled as these are holidays. We will meet in between
if necessary.
It's not clear yet what will happen to the run coordination meeting
scheduled for next Friday - have an eye on announcements.

Teresa reports:
The Muon subsystem is integrated into SLT; next she will try to use
slicer with it.

Lars reports:
With the MC truth information in daqif, the FLT group needs MIMPs
only in PC1,PC4,TC1,TC2,ECAL and MUx. In the current scheme, up to 32
MIMPs can be accomodated in one 'FED'. 
We decide to store only the entry MIMP for each superlayer.
A new daqif version with the Tube and Pad components of the Muon
System is available at ~soezueer/public/daqif.
Plans to upgrade daqif from ARTE-03-05-r1 to a more recent version
are postponed until a release with stable behaviour for MC events 
appears.

Peter reports:
refit/slicer studies have been repeated.
With the new library, the ECAL link is no more needed.
Use the new libraries in Rev0504!
EDC dies on all files of run 13603 -> under investigation.
ITR sparsification is still being tuned.

Brian reports:
Monte Carlo studies are going on.
MC DSTs with Muon have been produced in the 990810 geometry.
ECAL preTrigger studies will be done after Easter.

Mike reports:
Dickson Cadore Goulart, a student of Alan Schwartz, 
wants to join the SLT group. He is welcome.
On Wednesday there will be a meeting for the coordination 
of physics commissioning and trigger development.
The following program for the SLT was suggested:
- preTrigger efficiency
- ECAL 1 cluster Trigger 
- ECAL 1 cluster Trigger + Bremsstrahlung
- ECAL 1 cluster Trigger + Silicon Tracks
- ECAL 1 cluster Trigger + Bremsstrahlung + Silicon Tracks
We will add a converted-gamma-Trigger.
