The kumac command SELECT allows you to read only the events belonging to a certain class. E.g. SELECT 'class=#2'. Check the ARTE interactive help.
HOW TO find the header file in which the masks are defined:
The header files are defined within Arte.
Refer to the appropriate Arte version.

HOW TO find out how many events were classified in a certain class:
Event classification is monitored online since run 15860 on Friday, June 23, 2000.
A summary file containing one entry per run can be found in the
run summary.
